Intentional Living Mental Health Counseling

Tracy is informed by her experience working with students in a variety of educational settings from pre-school through college age. Her approach is cognitive behavioral (examining the connections between thoughts, emotions and behaviors) and psychoeducational in nature (oriented to identifying, learning and strengthening skills), focused on assisting clients with improving intrapersonal awareness, interpersonal relationships and coping strategies. Tracy has worked with adults, teens and tweens in private practice for over 15 years, supporting clients through symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, managing stress, self-doubt and somatic concerns. She is passionate about promoting social-emotional literacy, helping individuals and institutions value the significance of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and positive decision-making.

She acknowledges the importance of counseling that is both responsive and preventive in nature, assisting clients with processing and moving through past challenges while also taking a strengths-based approach to whole-person wellness and resiliency.

Tracy earned a BA in Psychology and English from the University of Notre Dame, and an MA in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago.
